Pulling on my heart strings
I suppose we take a trip down memory lane to when Nancy and I met, I had just started working at a veterinary hospital to which she had been employed for a significant amount of time. For an eager but nervous new hire Nancy, for myself and countless others, was the warm & loving source of comfort we needed to keep our heads above water while wading into the emotionally demanding veterinary field.
Nancy, myself & a team of amazing co-workers
(many of whom I still consider family)
shared plenty of blood sweat and tears but also laughter together.
Creating bonds that will last a lifetime... or two.
Life stories were shared over lunch dates,
talks of dreams & aspirations for our children,
inside jokes formed,
plots of new creative ways to kill grass imagined
One memory in particular that sticks with me was the day of Miss Annabelles dance recital rehearsal. Nancy had finished a shift at the hospital & juggling work/mom life ended up doing Annabelles makeup at work. Seeing them together smiling, creating a core memory, I couldn't help myself but to snap a few quick photos on my phone for them to keepsake.
Needless to say, you & this little ball of spunk are absolutely perfect just the way you are.
& we are all so blessed to have you two in our lives!
